Our Goal.

Is to support women and their babies born before the completion of 37 weeks through provision of  Items needed for baby development and health i.e diapers, anti-bacteria soaps provided to the mothers and so on.

What is preterm birth or premature birth ?

These are babies born before they have reached full term, which is typically considered to be 40 weeks of gestation. Therefore, babies born between 20 and 36 weeks of gestation are categorized as preterm or premature.

It’s essential to recognize that prematurity can vary in degrees, with different implications for the health and development of the baby. Medical professionals often use specific subcategories to describe the level of prematurity, such as: Late Preterm, Extremely Preterm and Extremely Preterm

The different types of preterm

Late Preterm: Babies born between 34 and 36 weeks of gestation are considered “late preterm.” They are closer to full term but may still have some health challenges, especially related to lung and feeding issues.

Moderate to Very Preterm: Babies born between 28 and 33 weeks of gestation are considered “moderate to very preterm.” These babies are more premature and may require specialized care, including time in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Extremely Preterm: Babies born before 28 weeks of gestation are considered “extremely preterm.” These infants are at the highest risk for various medical and developmental challenges, and they typically require extensive medical care and support.

Challenges the babies face

The level of prematurity often determines the level of medical care and intervention needed to support the baby’s health and development.

Premature babies may face a range of health issues, Premature babies may face a range of health issues, Medical professionals work diligently to provide the best possible care for preterm babies to help them thrive and develop as close to their full-term peers as possible.

What Mothers go through

Most mothers can’t afford to buy baby items that are needed to keep the baby a good hygiene like diapers.

There is a problem of  good nutrition for mothers while at hospital. They can’t afford having the recommended foods.

Most of them can’t afford buying recommended medication for themselves  as mothers.This is because most men run away from hospitals and leave their women.

The hospital do not have enough working tools to support this kids.
